This is nuts...how long does this have to go on for Tim? Right here you are implying that this is your snake by thanking Steve for wishing you luck. You have done this so many times before with other peoples animals...what goes on with you?
The thread is actually locked now which is probably a good thing but I am sorry that he didn't appologize to Diana at all for misleading people while using her animals. Sounds like the Jared Carr incident all over again where Tim took pics of Jareds animals and was leading people to think they were his own. If you ask me...if he didn't get caught doing these things he would probably be selling offspring that didn't even exist from animals that weren't even his :colbert:

    Hey guys!

My names Steve & I'm one of the owners of Reptilicious along with Laura & Lin.

I was the one who actually locked the thread, due to the fact that we try our upmost to keep our forum free of conflict and adverse remarks between members.

Tim "Snowballs" did (and I'm ashamed to admit it) pretty much have us duped when he first joined us.....But, I'm pleased to say, his ulterior motives & true character have shown through!

I'm just pleased that we "wised up" to him before he caused any irreparable damage to the friendship we've all built up with Matt (GHI/The Cleaner), due to his slanderous remarks!

He is being watched VERY closely by our team and the next time he oversteps the mark...He's outa there!!!!

We try to give everyone a fair chance. If they stretch the boundaries, realize their error & apologize, then great....If they don't, then we will only pushed so far before we're left with no choice but to ban!

    - He's currently walking a VERY fine line with us!!!!

Anyhow...Nice to see some of you guys are joining us...I'm sure some of our members will soon be popping up over here too!!!

    Nice to meet ya's!

Good to meet you too Steve and some of your team. We're much like you folks over here. We try our best too to not get too heavy handed but it's always a struggle to find that balance especially when a site grows as fast as ours has lately.

    Hey Diana,

People already know it and honestly he has been banned from like 20 or more forums. He was outed years ago for being a scammer and he has sort of turned into a nut job ever since...either that or he has shown his true colors since...one of the two.

Snowballs has always been around but goes from forum to forum as he gets banned from them. There are even mod's now that ban him as soon as he joins because they don't want him on their sites. But don't be fooled...when you ban him...he is still there...just as someone else. He has been regestering as several different people on each forum for a couple of years now and as one gets banned he is still there.

A few months ago on one forum...my 'karma' points were going down on an average of 50 a day...pretty hard to have that happen. I was told by the mod's that there were 33 users with the exact IP address and they sent it to me and it was Bowles. His user names were things like: I own you, youre mine, karma killer, and so on...kind of creepy :rolleye2:

Jo I use this FastStone Image Viewer 3.5, however I do not use the Watermark but the text.

You can write what you want and place it where you want, choosing color and opacity and this is the way my pics look like, with my name at the bottom in a discreet way so the picture is still enjoyable.

Well the thing is, I've been surfing a few forums and seen a bunch of ads and ran across his name once or twice, but I never really knew who he was until this incident... so even with all the stuff he has done in the past, I'm sure others will come across him unknowing. I think the more information about him that is out there, the better... he can be the most famous scumbag in the indrustry if he wants to, that's fine with me.

Deb, that's a nice watermark and very discreet... I tend to place mine more toward the center of the subject of the image, not because I want my name plastered on there, but so it would be more difficult to crop out the watermark. I know that would take extra effort but you never know with these people!

Decent graphic designers could easily crop that watermark out and still have a good size picture.

I would put the watermark closer to the snakes neck....just turn the Opacity down more.

Btw, if anyone needs a free photo editing software, try this out: www.getpaint.net ....reminds me of a smaller version of PhotoShop.

    Sorry guys...Me again!

I'm a Graphic Designer & Illustrator by trade....And unless if the watermark covers a good percentage of the image, as Shawn said, it can either be cropped off or completely cloned out!

Shame really, as a good watermark completely destroys the image!

If only people could be trusted, eh...What a better, happier world it would be!!!!! :D

    No worries at all :gj:

I think it's really important to know who you are dealing with and who you might potentially be dealing with in the future. I'm glad some light was shed on the situation from a few different directions!

To shed a little more light since he has been bragging about where he is going to 'dump' his baby ball pythons this season...this is what I got 'dumped' on me for $2,500.00 paid in advance:

    http://photos.imageevent.com/ghirept...ead%20shot.jpg

She came complete with paramyxovirus, coccidia, septicemia, liver failure, and few hundred extra cc's of fluid injected into her...not to mention and a whole slew of other problems. And Snowballs/Tim Bowles didn't stand behind her because he said it was all a result of shipping. Needless to say she was gone shortly after this picture was taken.

All of this and I am in the same country where he lives...imagine what someone in another country can expect...especially with things on his TOS page like this:

    - All sales are final and no cash refunds will be given.
    - It is the customers responsibility to read and fully understand all terms before purchasing from us.
    - By purchasing an animal from us you completely agree to these terms and conditions and forfeit any right to pursue a cash refund.
    - Terms are subject to change without public notice.

    Feeling warm and fuzzy yet?

WOW Matt 1st time i have seen a piccie how awful! I did see a thread somewhere think its was on the BOI but could not see photos so alouth i read what was going on etc when you see the photgraphic eveidence you understand more.

Im glad we got to the bottom of things - well you know what i mean. I must admit i never doubted you for one moment because before all that i had been looking up your site and had heard nothing but ggod about you from my friend Ian (treeboa34) who told me about your GHI site a few years back and i have always admired your snakes.
The only bad things we had heard about you all came from the same 1 person. You are a valued member of our forum Matt and gald to have you. As you know you are well liked in the uk on Reptilicious.
Gary as for Tim mmmm learnt quite a lot of the last few weeks.
But hey hopefully we have put a stop to any more nastyness from him. Not heard anything since from him since he got a warning from me.
Joe i also contacted captive bred to let them know a little more -oops silly me  The more people that know the better the community will be.
