The probe should sit in the middle of the heat pad. If you don't like the bubble (I couldn't handle the different temps. Drove me batty) I use styrofoam sheets. So my set up goes

    snake
    substrate
    Glass
    uth
    probe
    styrofoam.

    Ill find ttaylorrs drawing.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...aa865e9261.jpgthis is how to set up styrofoam. I couldn't have the bubble. It was making me so angry. I cannot have varying temps.

Your tape is covering part of your probe. You want the tape over the cord not any part of the probe.

    utn
    probe
    styrofoam
    table

Where do you get the plants from because I've searched several reptile stores and I can't find any with like vines or plans or anything I've had a really hard time finding decorations like I have that's like half log thing in there I have the two high tides marble thing or some rock thing I don't know exactly what it is it's really nice it's really heavy and I thought it would be good for when it's shedding and stuff I can rub up against it

    Re: Need some advice
Yes silk would be fake. When I kept fish I was told that plastic plants can rip long fins.. I would rather have something that is smoother and softer (putting 2 and 2 together here) for Damian.

We shop at Hobby Lobby near us. Their garlands look nice and are a great deal @ $10 for 6 feet: https://www.hobbylobby.com/search/?text=garland
