Since the first part of this thread appears to be gone, I don't know really what the heck is going on. But what's left certainly is amusing.

Somebody whined that a pm got aired out in the main forum. When they hadn't requested that information remain secret.

Oh geez, this is rich... I'm the 'whiner'!! Haha! *points both thumbs at self* and apparently DrDooLitttle now has a problem with ME even though I clarified that I never had a problem with her.... Sheesh. *goes in blanket fort and pouts* let me know when I'm ungrounded, k? :D

Honestly, the release of the PM information changed everything in that thread. I think it was for the better. We caught a liar and it saved some reputation on a reliable and stand up breeder. In this hobby, honesty goes a long way.

Seriously. Drop it. She's not singling you out. If she did, your name will be in her statement. Jeeze. You seem to be the one stuck on it. I honestly forgot that you opposed the PM till this post. I'm sure she did too.

From my understanding, she was talking about the OP of this thread.....

I think you are perhaps the one who needs to calm down. Either that or find a way to not be so abrasive on line.

I go to bed and wake with two great events to my delight. Kids are home from school due to snow and there is a new page to this thread. I hope everyone here is similar to myself in that all my posts are done in good fun. I am sure you are all great people and each of you would be fun to sit down with and have a beer!

I must admit this is the first time I've ever been called abrasive online. I thought I added plenty enough smileys :P haha

It was in my opinion . Maybe not in that exact moment. If the PM didn't get out, then the OP would just assume he was in the right and could write his neg experience on the BOI. Turns out it wasn't a neg experience due to the breeder. So it would be a false report. Not to mention everyone would be pushing him to get the breeder to refund him in full or replace the snake entirely. That's losses on the breeder when it wasn't his fault.

Or perhaps if someone wanted to inquire about Royal Constrictor Designs in the future and the OP chimed in, it would just be false as well.....

Ok. Im dropping this topic. I don't want to drag it out either.....

I hear ya, I guess I just figure that in that in that particular thread, the breeder's rep wasn't at stake until it was made public. Honestly, anyone can trash anyone at any time... It's up to the listener's discretion whether they want to believe it. :/ but anyway, this beats a dead horse... We all just need to take care of ourselves, each other, be smart, and be honest. That's how we reap good things :)

Woah, looks like the reptile world dodged a major bullet then! Nice work to those involved in stopping the op from maybe going on another forum and writing a bad review! In which case Garrick would have to do on the new forum exactly what he was forced to do here. :worship:

The breeder was in serious question no matter what his name. The fact that he was well known and already had a good reputation turned this whole thing around and when he proved that the OP was lying, he, Garrick, proved that he did indeed deserve the reputation so valiantly defended by Rob.

Once you've seen how much scumbaggery there is in this hobby/business you'll, hopefully, understand why some of us want so much information. Heck, I believed the OP until Garrick proved he had lied. Had not Garrick's name come out, had he not been made aware of this thread, we would all think that the OP is a trustworthy guy whose word can be taken at face value. Now we know that isn't so. When he goes to sell his babies and people look up his name this thread will hopefully come up and give them pause about trusting this guy with their money as well as the genetics of the snakes he wants to sell.

If he'll lie about telling Garrick to ship when Garrick didn't want to, what else will he lie about? Maybe nothing ever again, but this one seemed to come pretty easy and he let it go a long time before he was busted, not that he admitted it, he got caught.

It's one thing being an unpleasant character, it's another completely and much more serious, to be a liar. The OP is both, I'm one. Which of us would you trust to be straight with you about a multiple thousand dollar purchase?

You're new here and so I'm ASSuming that you are new to the BOI too. In the reptile world it's very serious to get a bad guy thread over there. It's very good to have good guy threads over there. The standards for proof on Fauna make this little sand box look like kindergarden.
