was thinking about using this for both my UTH and a CHE

For t'stats, I use Helix and Herpstat. RBI has Helix's and Herpstat's can be gotten at various places online. Their homepage is www.spyderrobotics.com.

That is the thermostat that I use. I have 5 of them. once they are set they work just fine. once you get a rack, and have multiple snakes living on one thermostat, I recomend a helix or herpstat. That being said, you will be fine with that thermostat for now.

There are plenty that will disagree and say they are junk... but I disagree with them STRONGLY.

I would put a dimmer switch on the UTH... and use the t stat for your CHE (or infared bulb if you insist :) )

Or get a herpstat and hook the UTH and RHP into it!

Come on starmom. You know you are dead wrong about these products. Lets keep it real. They are CRAP!

Now pack them up immediately and send them to me so I can properly dispose of them. Be sure you pack them carefully, I want them to be in perfect working order when I have my way with them....

    Think that would be good?

Sweet, I was just about to post asking about this thermostat as well! I figured with just one snake I can't beat the price of $20. Heck even if I got another snake +20 = 40 and thats still cheaper.
    Hey, what can I say! I'm a cheap-ass! :D
