Oh come on! Where is your adventures spirit? :D

While I was in Slovinia I told the cook to make what ever he felt like for me as long as it was a Slovinian dish! Not sure what I was eating every night, but it filled the belly and most of it was pretty good. Unfortunately I really have to stay away from Chineese food as the MSG or whatever it is in it can cause me some major migrain issues! :(

MSG in Chinese food is only the fake stuff you get at like Panda Express type of restaurants....

You go to real China or real chinese food, they don't even know what that stuff is!!!

I was at vons the other day, and you can buy MSG in a bottle. I didnt even think it was like that, i thought it was like "cholesterol". not something that can be bottled. lol

They eat bull testicles in Spain and hagus in Scotland. Different strokes for different folks; culture is all about being different! :)

Whether or not you have an open mind to appreciate and understand it is something completely different.

They have bull testicles here in Cali, J. F. Mc Klintocks serves em, quite tasty too.

People eat bull testicles here too...there is actually a pretty big "Calf fry" that goes on here every year, and that's what it is. That's what rocky mountian oysters are as well...animal testicles.

I didn't know the snake in the liquor was something that was done in other cultures, you learn something every day!! I do think it's pretty low of the guy to sell the stuff as a healing elixer when he knows that it's not, or at least it's not in the sence that he was trying to sell it. Just b/c the people he was selling to believed thought it was, doesn't make it something special.

I've never had them, but my parents bbq some weird stuff; if its found in a cow we bbq it in the summer. Blood sausage, sweet bread, other weird things I only know the names of in Spanish; Pat it sounds like you would enjoy the bbq at my hosue let me know if you're ever in NY.
