They also eat dogs in China, but while they belong in what we would call the dog family here they are different than what we would think of as a family pet type dog! As long as the animal is uthanized in a humane way I don't see a problem. If I did see a problem then I guess I would have to become a vegitarian as lots of different animals are slaughtered every year for food, beverage, and scientific studies. Dang did I say Scientific Studies? I'm glad it doesn't offend me cause all those fancy medications your doctor gives you have been tested on animals first that had to be uthanized to study thier organs and see if any damage was being done to them and how much! Thank goodness they do these studies on animals or some of the medications used in your family possibly to save their lives wouldn't be here or maybe something who's effects were unknown would have been used on you or me at some point while we were getting medical treatment.
