What size tubs are you using for the rat rack? are they the large concrete tubs?
I am using the giant concrete tubs. :D I plan to use the extra large litter pans from pet mate. They will hold a 1.5 easily

I am going to be building a whole new rat rack setup and trying to decide what tubs to use...I am thinking I will need to push the breeder rat numbers up to 100-125 range so planning it out now.
Thanks
I plan to use the extra large Litter pans from Petmate. My rack will be running 96 breeders with a 1.5-1.6 in each tub and use my old rack for birthing and hold backs. Right now I am birthing about 15-20 a week.
See this is one of my communal birthing/raising tubs
I know I am just full of dumb questions today :rolleye2:
Anyway have you seen one of these tubs in person? They appear to bow out at the sides - my fear is you won't get enough contact with the rails when you build the rack to make it stable?
(also the link is for the Van Ness pans not the PetMate ones - did you mean that?)
The price seems good if these will work. :gj:
