I had an ex boyfriend whose parents were embroiled into that religion. I went to one meeting and there were people trying to convert me.
At any rate, I don't respect people who are going to try to come into My Home and convert me to their religion.

If I did mess something up, I am sorry. But this is just what I learned from a few children of people who were deeply into the religion. I know that they do not celebrate birthdays and they want their followers to leave their $$ to them.

that story is great, you know people I know won't even come to my house, I have 7 red tails and one ball and they are scared to death to walk in my house. Don't know why.... :-)

My daughter and I recognized one of the persons that my hubby held the door open for and we knew what this was all about. We went downstairs took two of the adult BP's and made our way back to the hallway (it's a bit cramped right by the door). As we walked by we made sure to mention that there was no reason to be alarmed since these were harmless BP's and that we had already taken care of the venomous ones for the night, while I did remind my hubby to make sure to double check the locks on their cages (btw, I do not keep hots!). As we kept walking to the stairs leading to the upstairs these people were scarmbling to get out the door.
I think, I might wanna put a sign in the door that reads "Beware of the snakes".

I re-read your story; that is hysterical! Now if only there were a way to make telemarketers go away.. maybe tell them that snakes can slither through the phone lines? :P

ya the snakes work good for maken the girls skins crawl but what id want is a monitor put a spike collar on it :P

As far as Jehova's witnesses goes: I respect those that respect me. When someone gives me the I-roll-over-you-like-a-double-roller-compactor treatment in order to convince me of his/her religion being better than anyone else's then out the door it goes.
Yupp, haircolors like fishbowl green and thunder blue work wonders too. Especially when accomodated by punk/goth attire <grins>.
Greenlover, those were no girls that were stumbling over each other to get out off the house!

I wish I could get Lourdes out of his cage quick to help me "answer the door"...:D

My snakes actually make many guys' skins crawl when they visit. Mark's uncle hardly wats to spend time in the house because of them!
