Not always. It depends on how much money you are making and how much is tied up in your reptile breeding operation....and various other factors.

Thanks Daniel, that is a good link. So I guess I will be raising and breeding for pure fun and as a hobby (my initial intentions). And it is legal to sell some here and there (as long as they are not being shipped, in which I would obtain cert). But eventually I would want to set up a site to show off what I have and put certain babies and such up for sale... so with that in mind do you think I should aquire a business license? Is there anyone here with a website and that is selling who technically does not own a business?

Florida has all sorts of permits that may or may not be required for owning and/or selling reptiles. Check the FFW site.
