Is $120 a good price? If it is what they say it is, then I would say it's a fair price.
This. :gj:

With that way of thinking snakes would never be bought besides from breeders. Clearly I wasn't asking if I should by from them. Welcome to a privately owned PUBLIC forum where YOU came to to ask a question and gain knowledge for YOURSELF.
Is it a Hypo Butter? Probably....... buying from someone you don't trust (you wouldnt be here asking if you did).
What if I told you it was a Hypo Lesser?? You as well as all of us will never know.:rofl::rofl::rofl:
You are at the mercy of the seller with the genetics.
Also you are actually asking if you should but from them otherwise you wouldn't be here asking or clarification on the genetics. ;)
Re: need help indentifying this
Either way 100$ with tank and heater is an okay price for even just a butter. Make sure to be extra careful with the snake though! Watch for RIs and mites and stuff. It's tough to tell if it is actually a butter ghost or a light butter/lesser.

There is no question that it is a hypo/ghost. The only question would be if its Lesser or Butter.
Some people wouldn't care and others with breeding plans would.

With the amount of variation in the butter/lesser genes you can't be 100%. Especially from that picture from a phone in that lighting. As mentioned earlier the breeder isn't reputable. I also mention that it looks like one to me. Also what is the difference? Same gene someone just decided to call it butter somewhere down the line.

This makes it look like you doubt the hypo??

I meant more that it's tough to tell for sure. I don't doubt it's a hypo and in fact I pulled up on my computer and it looks a lot more like one on a bigger screen. The only reservations I have is that I have a very light butter ghost. I've seen plain butters with very pronounced blushing or light colors in general that have looked pretty similar with a tinge more brown. Take this one for example from WOB.

Secondly I am very wary of pictures unless they are from different times in different lights. I've seen how much light can change color and feel and the fact that this is a single picture from a person in Craigslist makes me skeptical.
