    Lizards over all are going to eat up more of your time to properly take care of than a snake does.

    I know I have more than the average person but I spend about 2-3 hours per day taking care of my snakes and lizards and the bulk of that is the lizards. If for some reason I get stuck at work late (AD AF that happens alot) than I have even more work to do the following day. Now ask me is it worth it ? Heck Ya !

    All in all my view on getting a herp is get what you want? If you get a leopard gecko, but had your heart set on a Bearded Dragon the care of that leo will suffer about 50% of the time due to the fact that you will lose interest.
