    OP could insulate the top, sides, and rear with a heavy blanket without affecting airflow since that's an enclosed rack.

    I've had racks in cooler parts of the house and found that draping a light baby blanket down the front would add 2-3*F to the ambient temp in the tubs.

    A blanket will not seal the rack, yes airflow will be reduced, but airflow is reduces by putting all kinds of things that are talked about. Putting foil over an aquarium, plexi the tops, not drilling holes in tubs, ect. A blanket is not a seal, it will just hold heat in. I have done this in the past and it worked well. Fortunately, all reptiles were moved upstairs and I no longer have heat issues.

    for the winter season 76 is perfectly fine. but if you really want that 80 mark just heat the room. Oil filled space heater set to 75 (in a small room) would make the ambient temps hit 80

    Thank you everyone! I'll try the blanket trick first, and if that doesn't seem to work I'll just purchase a space heater.
