The quoted part is not true,
An animal that carries the Albino gene is het. Albino and Not het. Candino
An animal that carries the Candy gene is a het. Candy and Not het. Candino
A Candino is actually a visual double het. Albino Candy. Like I said before when you breed a Candino to a Normal All babies will be Normal that are either het. Albino OR het. Candy with no way of telling which is het. Albino and which is het. Candy.
On a side note, same goes for Toffee
An animal that carries the Toffee gene is a het. Toffee
An animal that carries the Albino gene is a het. Albino
A Toffino is actually a visual double het. Albino Toffee. When you breed a Toffino to a Normal All babies will be Normal that are either het. Albino OR het. Toffee with no way of telling which is het. Albino and which is het. Toffee.
I hope this clears it up

I apologize in advance as I may be misunderstanding you. Are you are saying there is no such thing as a het candino? If so, I disagree. All that is needed to be het candino, is to possess one of the versions of the two recessive genes necessary to produce a candino. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zygosity#Heterozygous
Re: Albino Black Pastel x Candino clutch
Uhmm, just a newbie question. Will I be able to produce candinos with these pairings:
Het albino x het candy
Het candy x albino

Yes I am indeed saying that,
As an Candino is an double het. it self (het. Albino & het. Candy) so there is no het. Candino

True. I've seen animals described before as het candino, but what they ACTUALLY are is either het Albino OR het Candy, not both. However, there is no way to be able to tell which is which.

Yes to both.
