Can't forget vanilla as well. It holds color very well.. Also Lavender albino holds color way better than standard albino. Enchi also looks better with age... Ummm that is all I can think of as of right now.

Good question Misha,:)
For the life of me, I can't rationalize spending hundreds and in many cases thousands of $$$ on an animal that as a juvenile looks completely different than it does as an adult. Unless its colour gets brighter or it maintains it's brilliance as it ages.:confusd:
Maybe someone with more experience can explain it to me.:gj:

I just think it depends on what you're buying your snakes for in the first place. I personally have mine as pets. I want to breed for fun, but I'm not too worried about them changing color a bit. I already see the change in my Albino and I'm sure that my Pastave girl will get a bit darker. Would I love high contrast snakes? Definitely! But am I freaking out about it? Neh...
Now, if I was a breeder, it would be a different scenario.

Who wouldn't want a BP that holds and retains their colors as adults? I think if you wanted a ball Python for display purposes(not that they're good display animals) or just a pretty pet or heck breeding stock, I would want a snake that retains their beautiful baby colors. Or at least something equivalent or better since they all change to a degree.
For example, pastels have some of the worst changes. Most brown out terribly and you wouldn't be able to tell they were suppose to be yellow in the first place. A brown pastel doesn't really make a stellar visual example.
Add fire to that pastel, and they do stay vibrant and yellow. You add hypo or desert ghost to that pastel and they also stay yellow and get better with age.

Check out SansCera and the hypo combos he produces (especially fire hypos!).
I agree with marissa.
SansCera hypo fire, he's only getting nicer as he ages:
