Re: Need advice from those of you with a Ball Python room
Looks like a sweet project!
I used insulated form board for my walls and ceiling, it has worked great for use of cleaning and insulation. I have a ceiling fan mounted in the center of the room that stays on low speed all the time. Keeps the temps very stable floor to ceiling. I have a medium exhuast fan mounted in the ceiling that I have on a timer to vent at 2am each day for 20 minutes. This setup has worked well for me for years. Good luck!

Why the need for air exhaust from the room? Because the air gets stale and will run out of oxygen?

You don't NEED this type of system. I just liked the idea of having cleaner air for my snakes. The filter will filter out mold spores and, dust and pollen from the air passing through the filter. It also attracts and captures microscopic allergens like pet dander, smoke, household dust and microscopic particles that can carry bacteria, viruses and odors.

Until my custom ductwork is made I have put together a temporary solution. I also wanted to take this opportunity before everything is done to check the airflow. Turns out that even through the filter, this system works amazing!! I honestly couldn't be happier.

Well, because I already had all these parts laying around my house from previous jobs. I didn't actually buy anything.
*edit* I didn't buy anything other than the filter

I'll update the results after 24-48 hours

Alright, I've had the system running for a few days now and I must say, I absolutly LOVE it!!! The temperatures are steady, and perfect. And the air *deep breath* is cleaner than my own house!
