It is a dominant gene. Breeding them together does not get you a super. After I got my female spider up to breeding size, my male spider lost his potential. I have no plans for him that she can not take care of. Once I get a 2 or 3 gene spider critter, it will be male though. However, just being a single gene the females just make more sense to me now. This is the same idea as why would you pair a normal male? Not that a pair of spiders does not hold value for everyone though :gj:

Oh, yeah, I wasn't planning on breeding mine either. I might later for some babies. But I plan on getting a pastel or something later.
I just fell in love with the female and the breeder had mentioned that they had some hatchlings that were twins. I was pretty interested in them, so they sent me some pictures and decided on this little boy. It also helped that they gave me a discount on him as a package deal.
