My feelings exactly, except, all of my animals like to take a giant poop right after I change them, not just my breeding pairs hahaha. It's almost as if it is intentional sometimes. Jerks. hahahaha

I just keep it in a $2.50 home depot 5 gallon bucket with lid. The lid keeps the smell in. Then at the end of the week when it is all full and ready to wash I clean out my newt tank with the bucket which consequently cleans out the bucket. A little bleach and walla; clean and smell free. P.S. Don't leave the lid off the bucket though:P

I have been using paper towels for substrate for the few months that I've had BP's. Seems to work good so far but they are still pretty young and do not make much of a mess.

Paper, for all the tubs. I have it cut to the size and hanging from a nail on the wall. So, i put my gloves, take out the snake, take out the poop and the paper, desinfect with spray, dry it out, put on the new paper and back the snake. It´s like making a bigmac. Done in a minute.

We use corrugated Kraft paper. Clean and safe for the BP during mating and when they do their business it absorbs really well.
