Panda Pied (Super Black Pastel Piedbald)

Is there a pic floating around of the super cinni pied? I would like to see the difference too! I love that panda pied, but if it's true it's a ringer doesn't that mean non-genetic? Or am I confused about ringers.

I'm still interested in dinking around with a possible 8 ball pied (cinni x blk pastel) I'm sure it's gorgeous even if it's not the panda.

If theory is super blk pastel pied = panda pied
then panda pied x panda pied would yield 100% I believe?
I'm still getting my feet wet with genetics as well. So don't take my word for it. Wait for the experts :D

Ringers can be genetic, but some aren't.

Genetics are so wonky I'm not sure I'll ever get a grip on them lol

How are we to tell the difference between the urban camo (pewter / super cinni / silver bullet het pieds) from the actual s.cinni pied? Do I just need more practice at identifying pieds vs visual hets?

I don't know..all I know is I would love to have an urban camo and a panda pied :P lol

I think there just needs to be more super BP/cinny pieds out in the world so we can identify if there are any similarities and differences. There are only one of each out in the world right now, so who knows if its a fluke or not yet.

This is not a Pied. It is probably just a het expressing as an extreme ringer. We will have more evidence to add the first week of sept....hopefully.

As for the Panda Pied, I was informed this animal was produced from a wild imported BP looking animal to a completely unrelated BP het pied. That cinny/BP gene does some strange things combined with the pied gene.

That's what I thought Brandon.. Knowing that your line of cinnys produces those outstanding extreme ringers. Then there's the extreme ringer line of champagnes.

So basically, it does seem that the black pastel and cinny genes combine with the pied gene in a way similar to spiders. Colouring primarily on the head and no where else.

That is exactly what we are thinking. We are hoping we can change that outcome in the next year or so.

Anyone figure this out for certain yet?
