It does have a grey head so I'm not 100% sure it's a pastel but it's very yellow so I'm pretty convinced. We shall see...

Has anyone used the black light thing to look for pattern? I know there is the video from raphy on the different white snakes under black lights at nerd? And I know that in that video the super mojave bel had quite a bit of pattern and a dark line down its back... has everyone else witnessed that in there super mojaves or does each animal vary?

I took and posted black light pics of my Lesser Mojave BEL, and he has a bit of a pattern. It would be interesting to see more white snakes under black light.

I wouldn't want to breed or buy a BEL that has anything more than two genes in it. It would be far cheaper and more straightforward to just get a Pastave if you really wanted a combo morph for breeding. Adding Pastel to the BEL complex just doesn't make sense to me.
White Diamonds (het. russo x het. russo) have popped out with a very distinct yellow stripe on their backs, as have Latte's (super Mocha's).
And a Pastel BEL is a great snake to have.. You'd never get normals and you can add Pastel to w.e you breed it to. Pastave x normal = normals, pastels, mojos, pastaves. Pastel Super Mojo x normal = mojos, pastaves. Definitely beats having a pastave.

Oh, I know that. I guess I can't think of a way to explain why it doesn't appeal to me. I'm not saying that it's worthless to add the pastel gene to a BEL, just that I'd rather go for other options.

Exactly. You best believe if my Pastel Lesser and Mocha make a BEL, I am most definitely gonna hold it back and see what I get from it.
