Names in different colors?

i kind of figured it was something like that just by seeing the way its applied to certain people in certain threads. thanks for clearing that up.

But I like pink and want my name to be pink :(

what are these names? the angled ones, bp.net veterans? and how do you get that? just be here for a year+?
figured i'd throw them in here instead of a new thread

Yes, the italicized names are BP.net Veterans. If I remember correctly, you achieve that with two years of membership and, I think, a minimum of 200 posts. At one time the admins were talking about adding some new "ranks", but I don't know what was ever decided about it.

Sometimes you will also see names in bold text. I believe those are members with paid subscriptions.
