    When I have an odd girl I breed her to dom or codom, then hold back a boy that displays similar identifiable markers to mom. Then wait... :)

    I would breed her to a dark morph and at least selective breed this first generation.

    Where do we think the "accepted" morphs come from? Some breeder that recognizes that this odd-looking normal could be a mutation and plays around with breeding it to see what happens.

    (Whether the buying public thinks it's a mutation worth paying money for is a different story, of course.)

    Most morphs are started by breeders buying from importers in Africa. Out of all of the people with "dinkers", very few actually turn out to be a morphs.
