    Love fishing! :gj:

We mainly fish for smallmouth, walleye and muskie where I am. head out for the occasional Rainbow if we are feeling frisky though. Bagged some nice one's on Lake Ontario the other day in the 15 - 20lb range.

Favorite fishing hole is back home in Benton, Illinois though! Benton Lake is home to some of the best Bluegill around! Nothing like a good ol' fish fry, some friends and a box of ice cold .......... mmmm

Im out in Long Island\Queens area and normally around october the striped bass come back in. The best fishing of the strippers is really in Jersey waters but Jamaica bay produces some really big sea cows. Average is 20-30 lbers with a 50 thrown in here and there. Long Beach\Oceanside waters are pretty good for bass as well. Basically all the good fishing spots require a boat so if you dont have one I would do a private charter. Black fish season starts oct 1st and you can pretty much do any charter boat and catch them. There a little hard to hook but they taste soo good. I dont mention blue fish bc i hate them with a passion.

One of the strippers we caught

That's nice news... About Blues.. I was catching them all the time in Florida they are awesome fighters... Small ones bleed right away and soak overnight in milk are good eating but over 5 lb meat is too oily.. i wonder if they will taste good smoked...

I totally forgot to give you the link to the a good charter boat. www.karenanncharters.com. What I hate most about blue is they get to the bunker first and you end up hooking them and they eat right threw the line. The pictures I posted were from a trip that i caught one 30lber all day and everyone else limited out. I was fighting the blues all day. FYI im not in any of those photos. one is my brother from another mother and the other guy is a regular on the Karen Ann
