I listen to a lot of different stuff, my tastes are all over the place. The Beatles, Gary Numan, Beethoven, Waylon Jennings/Johnny Cash/Willie Nelson/Patsy Cline/Hank Williams (old skool country), Leonard Cohen, Metallica, The National, The Clash, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Airborne Toxic Event, Civil Twilight, Placebo, The Cure, Radiohead, David Bowie...

Re: What Kind of Music do You like?
I like 90's metal for sure (Tool, Megadeth, Primus, etc...) though I'm really not a fan of Metallica (they were good in their early days, but after the black album everything went downhill). I like classic rock (Zeppelin, Floyd, the Doors, the Beatles), a couple newer metal bands with that classic feel (the Sword, Mastodon, Priestess) and I like classical when it's on, though I don't listen to it on my own if you know what I mean. I'm actually like that with most music, except for pop/rap/country.

Just to clear up any misconceptions...you know, since you don't actually listen to it. ;)
In addition to country, my tastes include everything except hard-core rap & extreme heavy metal (anything ridiculously obscene or blasphemous is a HUGE turnoff).
My iPod has a mix of everything from Beethoven to Garth Brooks, Miles Davis to Leonard Cohen, Tori Amos to Sepultura, and just about everything in between. Country, blues, metal, jazz, showtunes, gospel, folk, techno, R&B, classic rock, celtic music, Spanish guitar, good ol' rock & roll, bluegrass, big band....it just goes on & on. We'd be here all day if I tried to list them all...the soundtrack of my life is together eclectic & colorful. ;)
Oh no, trust me, I listen to country. Forcefully anyway.

Re: What Kind of Music do You like?
I like a little bit of country and rock and roll, no rap or hip hop.

I don't like country... but everybody in my family seems to.
Most of what I have is assorted indie... silversun pickups, alexi murdoch, temper trap, etc.
I also love me some house/progressive house (mmm skrillex), and I enjoy some hip hop, more for the sound less for the lyrics.

I'm sorry, but Skrillex is the one "artist" I can not stand. Lol

Re: What Kind of Music do You like?
i like a wide variety of music and what i listen to REALLY depends on my mood.
if im angry and cleaning i put on loud angry stuff, helps me get my anger out quicker by doing something constructive like cleaning.
when im depressed i listen to somber, sad stuff like adams song by blink 182...oh my god i play that song to death when i'm in a mood. dont know how but listening to that kinda eases me out of a really bad down moment.

Re: What Kind of Music do You like?
I enjoy everything except country. I've been to see AC/DC, Ozzy, Journey, ZZTop, REO Speedwagon concerts, etc back in the day. Those were fun!! :D
I never listened much to the newer stuff until recently when my daughter got me listening to it. I'm ashamed to say I was stuck on a top 40 type station :O
I LOVE Avenged Sevenfold (yea they are pretty-I said it! :D), Three Days Grace, etc...too many good ones to name. I have never been a fan of Metallica though. My daughter laughs at me sometimes but I think is more proud than embarrassed that I listen to the same type music she does :P
