    I have used Baytril many times and have never heard of water being used or needed.

    I have only had 2 sick snakes over the years and both were treated with baytril. I have never had an injection site burn but I do know it can happen. Its less likely to happen if the injection is diluted. I have never been told to force water to a snake on baytril injections. This seems like alot of un needed stress for a sick snake.

    Thank you for the clarification.
    Now that we have that straight I would still skip the water process and just give the injection every 2-3 days until all medication is gone.
