Re: 2008 Super Special...
I think Anthony McCain has him if memory serves me. Tom would LOVE to be able to take photos --no doubt. For me, it is a close call between the Super Special and Crystal.
I hope to make a Crystal or 2 along with a few other Special combos this year. So much yet to be done with the gene!!! Great animals Tom!!!:bow::bow: Inspiring !!!

As you know Marc, getting a recessive mixed with a codom from scratch takes time -- and some luck with gender and odds. A combo I have in the works for sure.
The straightest line between point A and B will be my 4 09 Caramel Mojave girls that are at least 18-24 months away from breeding age/size. All are feeding well at the moment. I will almost certainly have a 2 or 3 gene Special combo by that time. Might try to make a Special Het Caramel next season to pair with the Caramel Mojaves in 2012???
Long-winded response to which the short answer is 2012 would be the earliest Caramel Crystal from me Marc.
Someone else might make it first. :snake: I need to follow suit of many more experienced breeders and keep projects on the down-low I suppose???
