    A killerbee is a super-pastel spider. You need 2 copies of the pastel gene, and one copy of the spider gene. Your killerbee will look nicer if the contributers of the pastel genes look nicer, but your odds remain the same. It isn't color that makes a killerbee--it's genetics.

    If this were true wouldn't it mean selective breeding is a hopefully venture?
