Is it me, or speaking in the 3rd person IS ANNOYING

I really don't get why this is worth so many posts and complaining. It isn't a big deal. I know of some people that do it chronically (they don't even realize they are speaking any differently, they just do). What about stuttering and lisps?

Seriously, guys... life is too short!

I find the 3rd person speak much less annoying than all of the people complaining about it. I honestly don't see the point in this thread. It's obvious that it's geared toward a single member and I believe that it would be much easier to press the ignore button than to start up a thread about why you might want to put someone on ignore.
One thing I will say about this certain member is that I have not seen him be rude or complain (except for the fact that we don't pay him to post;). In that sense I think that many folks here could learn a little something.

When I first saw BG talking in third person I thought he was really annoying, but now that reading a lot of his posts he is pretty helpful and knows his stuff. So, the third person talking doesn't bother me anymore.

The people that think BG is annoying, you should really read some of his posts, he's a pretty helpful guy and knows his facts.
