The larger the F/T prey the longer it has to thaw, the longer it has to thaw the more it will decompose, thus it becomes easier to break open like that.
I've had rodents start leaking on me because o sitting under lamps for too long.

my anaconda has done this once before with a f/t It was horrible and the smell was ungodly lol I feel your pain

Id rather id be the boa who does it though, once I over dethawed/overcooked a mouse, went to squeeze it to see if it was done and it literally exploded, right into my face.

Jax always hits his grub hard but thats impressive.... Right after I got him he squeezed a pup so hard blood was coming out of its mouth, but never ne thing like that

This happened with my female ball :O except her constricting did it- the smell was HORRIBLE

Haven't had one explode in any way shape or form yet. Looking forward to it. Not really, but what can I say. Sounds like it happens quite a bit!
