Big Gunns needs opinions from his fans

I... literally don't know what's annoying about third-person talk. I don't think I got that button on me to push (or I just automatically replace it with I in my head anyway) but BG gives awesome advice so I'm not complaining.

I don't really understand why anyone would feel the need to overreact or sift through things they deem worthless--hey, you never know what you might pick up from'em.

(see, crap may be crap but you can still grow things from them--and boy, I think BG would grow some glow-in-the-dark talking daisies if we gave him the chance.)

Some people are so passionate about the anti-third-person thing that it boggles my mind... and that seems to be the ONLY problem they have. o_O;;;

People don't like to hear the truth sometimes.

And BG tells it like it is! :gj:

I would never put someone on an ignore list here unless they flooded my personal inbox with crap.

As an aside, I can't take anyone (BG or otherwise) seriously that always, ALWAYS, refers to themselves in the third person. It's funny a couple times. But doing it every single time is not funny.

I think it's amusing that people take BG so seriously. The whole "the man, the myth, the legend" and similar talk are meant to be amusing. If someone were really out to stroke their own ego, it would be more obvious. But by the tone of his posts (yes, text can have intonation), it's obvious he's just having some fun.

I would like to have more fun with posting and goof around some, but I know that most people just can't take a joke.

Eventide would love to participate in BG's contest! Eventide wouldn't even care if she didn't win anything; the entire thread would be hi-larious and completely worth it!

Having an issue with Big Gunns because of the way that he presents his advice is really pretty stupid. If you're trying to learn about herps, BG is a great teacher.

It's like someone who is Andrea Bocelli's student, and hates him and ignores him because he has a funny accent... doesn't really seem sensible to me.

I think the third person is hilarious. But I'm an English major and I'm a dork for **** like that.

Big Gunns thinks(knows) some of them may have ulterior motives. Since Big Gunns third person talk is the only thing they can pick on, they choose that. BG can read between the lines of some of his "haters".

They all come around sooner or later....UNLESS......BG decides he doesn't want them to. If you go to read BG's messages, you'll see who he has a real dislike for.

Big Gunns will try and explain. It's his "signature". How can BG decide when to talk in the third person. He has decided not to talk in the third person when giving serious advice, but when else should he stop. Big Gunns thinks it would be more ridiculous to pick and choose when he does it. Anyway, Big Gunns enjoys it too much to quit. There is also one very good reason BG does it...just in case you all were not smart enough to figure it out...and it seems most are not. "DENYABILITY" I never said that outlandish thing. Big Gunns did.:rofl::rofl:

Like BG stated before, he doesn't think it's all because of the third person talk, that's just easy to attack. If it's only that though, it is really "pretty stupid"....BG agrees completely.:gj:

The irony of you using "Andrea Bocelli" as an example is unbelievable to Big Gunns. BG doesn't really like that type of music, but he loves Bocelli. The true irony will be revealed at a later time.

OMG I laughed out loud for the longest time when I read that one. Big guppy is pretty funny too but it doesnt instill visions of the grossly swollen throat of a man in dire need of medical attention! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Anyway.. BG, as for the contest, I dont know what surprises you may have in store for us but Im easy to please. A super black pastel or any double to quadruple dom/co-dom female will do me good :P

Who should Big Gunns give the credit for this(BG is too lazy to look)? Big Gunns always gives credit where credit is due, and if a BG fan "laughed out loud" BG will give them their "props" for entertaining his fans:bow:

As far as the contest goes. BG is THE GREATEST guy, but any double, triple,or quads are a leeete much for a third person contest....sorry.:P
