    Funny there is a thread somewhere around here where someone on craigslist was saying they had a burm and it was a ball python :p.

    The other night, I was browsing the pets section. I see this ad that says
    "Female Boa wanted for Breeding"

    So the poster goes on and on about how they lay upto 60 something eggs...:weirdface

    That breeding is very profitable:weirdface

    That he can sell the babies locally for about $300 each:weirdface

    So I emailed him and I said.

    Umm.. you do realize that boas don't lay eggs right?
    I gave him some links into boa care and to a couple forums. Never heard anything back though.

    There was a lot more to the ad that I have since forgotten, but it gets worse from there.

    Well that depends on which boa you're talking about. But no boa that I know of lays 60 eggs...
