    handling
    my BP seems to be in his hides all the time and then gets active when im going to bed. i want to handle him more but dont no when i should get him out because i dont want to aggravate him. any suggestions?

    You could handle him for maybe 10 minutes every other day.Of course leave him alone for 48hrs after eating to prevent a regurge ;)

    I would suggest when you have the free time :).If the evening is better for you and he is active then it should be less stressfull for him.

    When my girl is in her hide, I just tap the top of it lightly to let her know I'm 'there', then lift it slowly off her. Since the caves I use have an inside ledge of sorts, she usually comes up with it so I tilt the cave to put my hand under her. If she climbs on, I know she wants to be held. :)
