    Mojave or Lesser
I had these two babies hatch from a lesser x Mojave clutch. I can decide what they are. Baby 2 is definitely lighter than baby 1.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9fff952b73.jpg

I am going by the numbers in the pic instead of the order the pictures posted so you know what I'm talking about.

    1 Lesser
2 probably Mojave, but the lighter color isn't what makes me think that, as that is just blushing and likely being caused by something different than Lesser or Mojave. I'm basing Mojave more on the keyhole and donuts which Mojave does a lot stronger than Lesser does.

Any other possible morphs in mom and dad that got missed? Were these the only two hatched of the clutch, even "Normals"? Something in the Fire complex perhaps doing that blushing?

Do you think pastel could be it as well?

I was thinking about that, and I think its a mild possibility, but if Pastel is responsible it's a really, really weak line of Pastel for the alienhead colors to be so dark in such a young hatchling, and the headstamp to be on the weaker end compared to a normal Pastel Mojave.

Yeah the head stamp throws me off and makes me think pastel isn’t in there. Just the overall blushing made me think so

Well, here are pictures of the two normals in the clutch and the parents. I can try to get a better picture of the mom since this one is blurry.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...622ac4e9b0.jpg

I think whatever it is, Dad is where it's coming from. He has a heavy amount of blushing as well and a very similar looking headstamp to the hatchling in question. The hatchling on the right does look a lot lighter but still within normal variance for a normal, and doesn't seem to have heavy blushing from what I can see. Can't see his headstamp or flaming at all though from that angle, but I'm still thinking whatever it is you hit low odds and just got 1/4 with whatever it is.

Fire or something allelic with that is a strong possibility given how Dad looks, but it's certainly not definitive.

Might not be a "morph" persay but some sort of polygenic-type property that might be able to be strengthened with line breeding if you like the way it looks.

    Ok, thank you very much!
