Out of hide during the day when in shed
Ye so he’s outside of his hide whilst in shed during the day (it’s only 9:50am here so might go inside later on) his eyes have started turning milky blue so he should shed by the end of the week. Just wanted to know if it’s normal for this to happen every now and then as he doesn’t usually do this.
Right now as I’m typing this he’s just chilling being half inside the hide & half outside of it.
Edit: 9:52am - he’s gone inside now

I’m in the uk as well but I’ve never even seen any of my Royals out and about when they’re in shed mode .. they just disappear until it’s all over

My Tonks loooves being out of her hide. Silly girl is more likely to sit ON her hide than IN it, regardless of where she is in her shed cycle. In fact, I should document next time she's in shed, becuase I think she spends more time out of her hide when her eyes are clouded over - maybe she's trying to see what's going on in the room? I did get her a bigger hide recently that looks like a natural rock, and she spends more time in there than in her older hide, but I'd say she still spends 4-6 hours on any given day just sitting on her hide or hanging out next to her water dish.
My guess is that she never read the care guides and doesn't know she's not supposed to like being out, lol.
