    Some Concerns
So, I need some advice. I won't go into too many details, but while she getting ready to shed my ball python got stuck on a light. It was a viewing light that sticks to the side of the enclosure, and the back had a sticky hanging material, which us what she was stuck on. I picked both of them and was going to remove it when she got it off herself. This was a week or two ago. She just finished shedding, except for a little around where she was stuck. But the scales have become brown. They are not soft or raised or swollen, she doesn't mind me touching them, I just wanted some advice. I'm trying to figure out how to add a photo

    Try this: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-Post-Pictures

And for best results, NO tape or sticky stuff in cages, ever. Now you know why...sooner or later, this stuff happens, & some outcomes worse than others.

It had only been in there a little while and I was actually going in to remove it when I found her stuck, because I started thinking about what if it feel and she got stuck to it, but I was already too late.

Been there, made a similar mistake many years ago (long story). Snake enclosures are unique: the heat &/or humidity causes many sticky things to become less sticky,
& then awfully sticky again once on a snake, especially if they lay in the heated area for a bit- it's like they're "hot-glued". Trust me, I know...;)

Nope, that didn't work. I remember why I left this site now. I'll just find a new place.

    Try this-
Go to "Part 2: How to Post Pictures Using the BP.net Gallery." It's about half way down the page.
