REVISED Enclosure Checklist
I made a different forum yesterday about this, but thought I should repost my revised checklist. This does not include the enclosure - I decided to go with an Exo Terra, as I live in a state with relatively similar humidity so I can handle the maintenance of it. I also think I'm going to make paintings or something to fit the uncovered glass and put them on the outside of the tank so 3/4 sides are covered.

Since so many people have said the day/night lights and all that aren't really necessary as long as there's a suitable light cycle, I've decided to just plug one of my nearby lamps into a timer set to 12 hours off/12 hours on, and try to keep my blinds open for natural light as consistently as I can. My one question is the gradient - the basking side is the side with the heat pad and heat emitter, and the cool side is the side without it. But how do you achieve the medium gradient? Will it happen naturally from heat radiating from the UTH a bit?
ALSO: Is a heat emitter required WITH a UTH, or do you only need the UTH? As much as we all love spending money we don't have to, I don't think I want to spend money I don't have to.

I'm sorry for being super annoying with quantity of questions and posts about this, but I honestly don't want to have a snake if I can't give it the best conditions I can. I also don't want to do my wallet a disjustice by buying stuff I don't need and then not buying stuff I do. Thanks in advance to all answers!

How many thermostats do you need for the enclosure? Just 2 for the CHE and UTH or another for anything else?
