    Feeding questions.

This is my baby. We have had him since February and he is getting pretty long. I'm feeding him frozen adult mice every 7-10 days. Only one at a time. Should I be feeding him two adult mice at a time?? I'm looking to upgrade him to rats as soon as I can find some who sells them local. I want to try him on them first before I start ordering them in bulk online. Any and all advice is needed and welcomed. Thank you all.

He weighs about 353 grams. I don't think I'm feeding him enough.

Actually, my phone died. My family and I have been dealing with the aftermath of Harvey her in the Houston area. I'm doing my best to take care of all my pets as well as my kids right now.

He's actually at the transition point. The max / target you should feed is 10% of the body weight, so about 35 grams. According to Rodent Pro a jumbo mouse weighs 25 to 45 grams, so that's about perfect. I actually feed snakes that small twice a week and they grow twice as fast, but probably not needed since it's a male, even if you decide to breed him. He could probably switch to weaned rats, but I'd keep the frozen mice around too. I usually try rats with some of my snakes and they won't eat, but then I try a mouse and they snatch it up. They seem to like mice better. But at some point you'll need to get them on medium rats once they are full size.

Thank you. I as I said, I'm trying to find someone local for rats. I want to try him on them soon but he is so small I'm worried he can't get it down.
