Is she going to lay eggs soon??
    Hi,
This is my first trial to breed ball pythons.
Everything seems going well except my business trip now. Only I know she seems almost close and just before my wife sent her photo which looks perfect coil and I installed the ip camera for just in case. (I'm away from 10hours far by the flight. OTL)
Please give any tips or idea if she is almost close. I attached her photo.

Honestly, from that picture she looks like she is already on eggs. First, relax and enjoy this. They've been doing it without us for millions of years so don't panic. Make sure you have whatever setup you're going to incubate in, ready. When you feel she is done laying eggs put a towel over her head and gently uncoil her from them. Put he in another tub with a lid so you don't have to deal with her while you attend to the eggs. If all the eggs are stuck together, then just put them in the tub like that but make sure the lid isn't going to touch them and they aren't touching the sides of the tub, otherwise use a larger tub. If there are individual eggs, try not to change their attitude. Keep whatever side is up in the same position when you put them in the tub.

If you want to candle them, take them in a dark room and use a small LED flashlight and just touch the eggs. If they are viable you'll see veins. After that, put them in the incubator and prepare yourself for the longest 60 days of your life. Best of luck to you.

    Wow Thank you so much!!
Since I'm on my business trip for a full week, I've prepared the incubation setup and educated my family for just in case!
And yes! you're correct! She laid beautiful 6 eggs! Thankfully my family has done great job to take those eggs to the egg box and finally incubator without me!

Congrats! I was thinking it looked like she was already hiding eggs haha. My first clutch was the same thing, she had them wrapped so good you couldn't see an egg. I was so surprised when I went to move her that there they were, 7 healthy eggs. It's a great feeling. Good luck with your clutch!

Dears, you may remember I’ve got this clutch when I had a business trip and my mother who actually doesn’t know anything about ball python even they scare her easily helped me out to take away those eggs instead of me. [emoji4]
Anyway today is 60 days to hatch out as shown below. I’ve waiting for the first piped out then I can cut other eggs but seems take some time...
