    Spark?
I'm trading for a breeding pair of sparks. I want to sure that are as advertised. I don't have belly or side pics yet but based on these pics I'd love some feedback. I'll post side and belly shots when I get them.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...76832219b6.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...409b1ec2b5.jpg

The most sure way to know what you're getting is legit is to buy from a reputable breeder. Spark is one of those genes that is very hard to distinguish from yellowbelly; even pro breeders have a hard time telling sparks from their yellowbelly siblings in the same clutch.

It's very very easy for someone to scam you with a pair of yellowbellies, telling you they're something else, and in fact it's happened quite a bit since yellowbelly complex genes (like specter and gravel) blew up.

Not saying to assume the guy is scamming you; I'm just saying you likely wouldn't know if you were being scammed or not, not until you breed them at least. I'd do a BOI search on the person and if it comes up clean, ask lots of questions (who produced the pair, has he bred them before, how old are they, if you can get a pedigree/guarantee of genetics, etc) before proceeding with caution.

Thanks much, I'm always really careful when I purchase non visible snakes. I don't have a lot of experience with YB gene combos so I'm extra cautious. She claims there. Both proven same parents (candy pied X super spark) obviously I can't determine the recessives until I prove them out but if I get sparks I'll be happy enough.

Sounds like a powerhouse pair! Super spark candy pieds would be a sight to see for sure. Did she produce the parent Candy Pied and Super Spark herself? If not, where did they come from? Can she show you pictures of the parents if necessary? If she can answer these questions and others thoroughly and with confidence, I don't see any reason to doubt what she's saying. Especially if they're priced fairly and your BOI search came up clean.

Theres nothing in the pictures that makes me think they're not what she says they are either.

She claimed to produce them, BOI proved very interesting. She's a scammer for sure. A damn shame as that would have been a badass pairing.
