I post on another
boa-specific forum. I know there are several Bcc breeders on that site, so you might want to try posting your question there. I've always gotten good advice there, but it tends to have less traffic than this forum.
EDIT: Here's a
link to a thread by one of the BCC breeders on that forum showing her "holdbacks" you can get a good idea of quality by looking at them. I'm sure she would gladly tell you how much she sells babies for it you private message her.
I agree with this post!
Just for a starting point, I have a pure locality Barranquilla, Colombian BCI produced by Rio Bravo Reptiles, which was Gus Rentfro's old business.
He sold his "average" males for around $150, and the closer the animal got to being a perfect example the more the price would go up. My animal was purchased from Legacy Reptiles as a breeder male for their program, but they had too many animals at the time. I bought it from them for $250 I believe.
Actually, Legacy has a lot of Gus's old BCI and BCC stock. Check them out and you'll see very nice BCC there.
I also am a member of a very boa constrictor specific forum and know of several breeders that produce excellent BCC locality animals.
Re: BCC pricing-Need help
We sell our baby Bcc for $250 to $300 each
