bee and lesser bee

Ok Miss Doolittle and anyone else that would like to weigh in. What do you think? Average examples, better than average maybe?

I think both are pretty sweet.
Very minimal browning on the bumble bee, gorgeous markings on the lesser bee.
nice pick up.

Haven't actually got them yet. I'm still really new and trying to look for in specifice morphs. What's average what's really nice etc. From what I read I thought these were pretty nice examples but wanted to get some confirmation. I want to get a couple females that I can start working on then figured I'd start looking at males next year sometime. Thanks for the input. Oh 425 for the bee 650 for the lesser bee. Seem fair?

i think they look good, especially the lesser bee, i see all 3 genes doing their thing in that one.

maybe the bee could be a bit cheaper, but the price jump from 2 genes to 3 genes seems rather small, so i would say, especially the lesser bee is worth considering. 225 dollars for a third nice gene added into it, should definitively be worth it.

but are these males or females? i assumed males, but if its females then the deal is even better.

That's a really nice bumblebee, no browning at all! How old/big is it? I think you should get it.

The lesserbee is a great example too.

I think they're both quite nice.

I saw these for sale and thought that lesserbee stuck out as a prime example of what I want in a lesserbee. White sides, cool orangey dots, and nice creamy colors. I'd jump on that asap

Worry about that in a year! Raise the female and enjoy her! Keep browsing pictures here to see some cool combos :gj:. I would do something with pin OR enchi. Maybe calico enchi or calico pin :gj:. Don't buy the male now though! The price will be cheaper next year, and they should both be ready to breed around the same time

oh, i just noticed, i made a big mistake, a miscalculation.


i believed because bee = pastel spider, that lesser bee = lesser pastel spider.

Now i noticed the lesser bee is actually NOT a bee, but just a lesser spider.

and what REALLY freaked me out that it took me forever to find a real lesser pastel spider in the morph list, because its called queen bee, and not subtitled as "lesser pastel spider".

in contrast, the fire bee is not just fire spider, but really is fire pastel spider.

this is all really confusing. i mean, i know a lot about morphs, combos, and genetics, but sometimes these strange names still get me. i believed "bee" simply means "pastel spider", but instead it means "spider with something else, most likely pastel, except when it just means spider".
