    First boa: Sharp Albino (pics)
So I dont post much here but I do browse through the posts and look at pics, and know how much everyone likes to see the new additions, so here is mine he is a Sharp line Albino purchased from Chris Bethel.

These are from my Galaxy s3 so not the greatest

    First pic I took (terrible):

    Still in the bag:

Its not very easy to photo a moving snake with 1 hand using a phone, lol.

He seems to be doing ok, the heat pack fell off during shipment and was laying on top of him when I unboxed, hoping it doesn't cause any issues.
    Thanks for looking!

from what i heard you should of got a female first then a male a year later, unless you plan on buying a big female.

Yea thats typically the way to go, Ill probably look for a 2011 female. I decided on the male because I wanted the male to be the visual albino so I can breed his genes to more females, and I really like his tail. Also my wife isnt a fan of snakes so since males are smaller kinda helps ease into the bigger snakes :)

Not necessarily. He'll just have to wait longer to breed the female. Just because a male CAN breed once it's 2-3 years old and/or producing sperm plugs, doesn't mean he HAS to. He can wait and grow up more until the female is also mature enough. I bought my male Argentine before the female. He is an early 2010 and she is a late 2011. He is ready to breed now - nearly 6ft long, 2200 gm, producing sperm plugs, and hubba-hubba, lol. It will be a good 3 more years before the female is ready as I grow my babies slowly. That's ok by me - I buy top quality animals when I find them and that sometimes means buying the male first. :gj:
