Chewbacca the Hognose has arrived!

So my little western hognose has arrived!

He is tiny tiny!! The guy drove about 40 minutes to deliver him to me. Poor little guy was FREEZING!

But he is in his 9QT tub now warming up!

The smallest hides I have were still way to big for him so I put some of the shredded aspen he came with in the hides for him.

Also the substrate is paper towel for now while he is in QT so I can see if he has mites and what not. I know the hognoses prefer something they can burrow in.

Nothing like a hoggy's face to bring a smile on yours :gj:

I know I smile every time I look at him!!

I know he is soo small and sooo cute!!!

I got around to weighing him.

He weighs in at a whopping 10grams!

I'm a big fan of big snakes but those little hoggies are just adorable.

Nice pick up and welcome to hognose keeping :) I started off with one. Now I have 20 and counting. They are addicting. Lol
