Get a good look at em and noticed tiny red mite looking things my husband says he believes they're only clover mites he says there was greens lettuce in thief cage at the store he thinks that's where they're from but me iam freaking out I'm scared its something we can catch or my snakes so any of you have any ideas as to what I should do thanks a lot

Yea they're outside since I ever noticed em .. we actually caught a few of them in a sterile urine cup lol but I got a magnifying glass out and really they look exactly like spider mites.. to me and my husband .. but what is chiggers and how or where do they come from?

Also husband is really wanting to breed our own feeders.. now I'm pretty turned off from the idea.. so I looked up chiggers and what we found has way more rounded butts/bodies those chiggers look more flat bodied to me but idk I never really seen any of these before I mean I have randomly seen lol spider mites outside before
