    Looking into a frog/toad!
After having to get rid of my snakes, i was able to convince my mom to let me get another reptile (as long as its not another snake). I used to be interested in getting a frog or toad. Preferably a pacman frog because they are so darn cute! However, if anyone has any suggestions to possible amphibians i should start to look into let me know!

okay, the thing about most amphibians is that they are hands off pets. There are more personable examples out there, like a white's tree frog, but they still shouldn't be handled too much. But with a pacman frog you might be disappointed with the activity level. These frogs can literally go weeks without moving. I love pacmans, but they are almost the living equivalent of a pet rock at times. If you're moms only against snakes, I'd recommend one of the more calm geckos, like a Leopard or a Crested. If you are determined to go with a frog, make sure you read up on the Chytrid Fungus and the preventative measures for it. As with any animal, frogs may have more work than a care sheet will tell you...

I don't care much about movement or being able to be handled. I've been doing all this research on pacmen for a year or so so i think im just going to go with that. thanks for the input!

Paman's are really neat, and although I loved mine, I really like to see things in action, especially things that I can't necessarily hold. With that I have come to love vivariums and a tropical frog such as a red eyed tree frog. You can have multiple in a tank, and at night they are active. With the proper setup and lighting they are really cool to see interacting in a very natural enviroment for them.
