diy rodent racks

looking into building 1 for myself if any1 could possibly send me in the right direction for a 5 or so tall rack since i only need a little 1 for now that would be great to house a set of breeders and there offspring thanks :)

I don't move mine a lot just roll them around enough to vacuum under them but these racks have served me well for most of 2 years now and only cost $50 to $60 each to build.
1x2's and 2x2's are pretty inexpensive and do the job quite well, no need for 2x4's that make the racks weigh a ton :P
I don't have a build sheet written out but could give you the cuts you need to make and a couple close up pics so you can figure out how it all goes together.

i got my design and plans from clay davenport reptiles just search for rat racks on internet and you should find them they work really well for me at least

I also used Clay's plans to build my rack. I was lazy and didn't want to rip 2x4's so I used the 2x2 at Home Depot. The 2x2's are not dimensionally the same so that caused a few issues. And my tubs ended up being about an inch less wide. Other than that it was an easy build for a guy that is not that handy.
