    Nght time Temp Drops????
Is it Okay For temps to drop to like 70 degress at night???? Im just wondering if it could hurt your snake or do they just prefer higher night time temps? Ive had my snake for 2 1/2 years and i read that i should turn the heat light on in the morning and off at night. I have never had a night time heat source and he is a very healthy ball python. Im just wondering.

So your saying you allow you temps to drop to 70 at night with no heat at all? I am supprised that you have never had an RI doing that. What do you keep the temps at during the day?

Anything below 75 is unhealthy when it comes to BP, also I would not recommend dropping temps unless of course you are planning to breed him.

Usually when temps are dropped that drastically with no hot spot it leads to issues and the first things that would likely happen would be that your BP would stop eating.

Keep your temps constant 24/7 year round.

    What Deborah said.

Ball pythons don't need a night time temperature drop, and especially if you're just keeping them as pets it's best for you to just keep the temperature the same at all times.
