    male vs female
Are females more aggressive then males ??? I have a male pastel and he's a few months old and he's pretty shy and jumpy but he has never struck at us not even when he's around my loud and obnoxious kids. I just purchased a female last weekend shes about the same age maybe a little older and she seems aggressive, when I go to check her out she has struck her tank about ten times now . I held her twice but that was before she struck at me I'm a little scared to touch her now is this just the way females are ??? :snake::O

It doesnt have anything to do with being male or female, it really depends more on the individual personality of each animal. Everyone of mine have differing personalities.

Last weekend? Maybe a little early for her to have settled in. Some say a couple of weeks, and they shouldn't be handled in that time...

I personally don't really notice a difference based on sex. It's mostly just the individual, that's all.
