    Boa Master cages
    Anyone have any experiance with these? Am thinking about getting a few four foot cages. I had my mind made up on AP but have heard from two buddies they are having problems with mold build up in them. Boa master cages look almost the same and seem to be the same idea. Any help appreciated

    If they're having problems with mold they should probably clean the cages. :confused: I've got 6 AP cages over here and haven't had any problems in the three years I've had them.

    I can't speak about BoaMaster cages, but I also have 2 AP cages and have never had problems with mold. Mold shouldn't grow unless the humidity is way too high. I LOVE my AP cages!

    Thats what I was looking to hear. I love the look of the AP cages too and I have had great experiance with their racks. Im probably gonna go with my original plan and get the AP's. Thanks for the opinions.

    if they have mold there either not venting it enough or there just not cleaning there cages like they should. Ap are great cages. Mark at boamaster makes some great cages to and his new line is alot like ap. Im not a fan of his older style wooden cages just because I had to help a freind move a 6 foot one up a flight of stairs and thought I was going to die lol. Those cages are heavy as can be. And I tend to rearrange cages every so often lol so I like light weight things lol

    One thing I thought I would mention... if you use loose substrate you probably don't want to get the T8's. The substrate dam in front is quite a bit shorter than the one on the T10's.

    I'd go AP...:gj::gj::gj:

    If you choose to go BoaMaster find out how shipping will be done...AP will make sure it gets to you and will take care of any problems if something happens...If Mark has you pay for the freight charge when they arrive and there is damage, you are fully responsible for dealing with UPS...His idea is "you are in control!!!" well, when the cages come damaged you also have a HEADACHE too!!! Been there done that, never again...

    I actually have some experiance with that from AP. The sent a rack that had one of the side cracked i half when it got here. I didnt realize it till a few days later. I had no choice but to make the rack work becasue I was out of space LOL. So after I took pics and talked to Allie at AP they were able to make it right for me. They are great to do buisness with. I am definitely gonna go AP I think.
