Beginner Breeder Over Here ;

So I am gonna begin breeding next season and was wondering if this is a good start collection to have for a beginner. I will only have a Normal ready to breed and was considering buying a male Pastel just for breeding her and then reselling him after eggs are layed.

This will be my collection by September for sure. No if ands or buts.

1.1 Het Albino (Already Have)
0.1 Cinnamon
0.1 Pastel
0.1 1300g + Normal
0.2 Normal 250g +

Is that an okay beginning collection? The only animal in the collection that will be able to breed is the Normal 1300g+ once I get her to 1500g. Like I said I am probably gonna buy a male Pastel just so I can breed and just get the joy out of producing my own Ball Pythons.

Rather than just getting a single codom male like a pastel, I'd get a male you'd rather plan to keep in your collection. A double codom or a codom het.

Bumble bees, pewters, lemon blasts, etc.

Keep in mind that selling a male after breeding a female is something a lot of people do. Its not necessarily a good time of year to move low-value males..

I never really took that into consideration.
Maybe something higher in value?
Mojave? Enchi?

Maybe a mature male cinnamon that way you can also produce super cinnys once your female gets up to size.

Actually lemonblasts, bees and pewters are higher in value. :)

But Mojaves and Enchi's arent higher in value then Pastels. Thats what I was trying to say.

I'm not at all trying to be rude about this...But you are inquiring about if this is a good collection to begin with concerning future animals, I would suggest a really good way to start out is by first not ripping on someones name, come up with something original ( it's not the most difficult thing to do), and then work your way into establishing your collection.

Uhm...I didnt rip your name. I didnt even know about you until you messaged me accusing me of ripping your name. Like I said Im sorry for taking such a close name to yours but its what I decided to put myself as and Im not changing it because one person has a problem with it.
