I have finally gotten myself two new additions, Two Pink toed tarantula spiderlings,:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Ive got a kick question, is avicularia metallica a type of pink toed tarantula

I know this will probably sound like a newb question but what is a sling? Im guessing a baby Tarantula. oh and i held one of them, it was awesome especially considering i have mild arachnophobia

You are right it is a baby tarantula. Short for spiderling :gj: And in case you do not know already watch out when you hold the avics because they are poop shooters :D I had an A. purpurea that almost always shoot poop when bothered. Funny and gross at the same time. Very beatiful Avic though...
